1.  MATCHING GIFT INCENTIVES

The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. are providing a matching pool of $50,000.  All donations made during the 36-hour period of The Great Give® 2017 to participating nonprofits will receive a prorated portion of a $50,000 match pool. (As an example, if the match pool is $50,000 and the total amount raised that day is $500,000, then a one dollar donation would become one dollar and ten cents.)

The Valley Community Foundation has set aside a matching pool of $20,000.  All donations made during the 36-hour period of The Great Give® 2017 by Valley donorsa to participating nonprofits will receive a prorated portion of the match pool. (As an example, if the match pool is $20,000 and the total amount raised from Valley donorsa that day is $60,000, then a one dollar donation would become one dollar and thirty-three cents.)

NextGen Power Hour Match – New in 2017, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is providing the NextGen Power Hour Match pool of $5,000. All donations by donors born between 1974 and 1989 during the 5:00 – 6:00 pm hour on May 2 will receive a prorated portion of the $5,000 NextGen match pool, in addition to the overall matching pool prorated share.

The Konopacke Match - (view list below of eligible organizations for this match) The Konopacke Fund of The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is providing a matching pool of up to $5,000 to inspire giving to nonprofit animal sheltersf. Eligible organizations will receive a pro-rated match (up to $1:$1) for all gifts received during the 36-hour period of The Great Give® 2017.

2.  GRAND PRIZES - The following Grand Prizes are being provided by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (unless otherwise noted). (participating organizations can only receive one grand prize; the higher prize amount prevails):
